Spencer Levy is in his third season with the Caltech men's basketball program. Levy serves as a lead for player development, and assists in scouting, video analysis, and operations tasks.
“We’ve coached against Spencer over the years and I was always impressed with his love for the game and desire to develop,” Head Coach Dr. Oliver Eslinger said. “He is eager to learn, willing to assist in a number of areas and is a great addition to our staff.”
Levy joined the Beavers following a three-year career at SCIAC member Occidental College. A 2016 graduate in American Studies, Levy began his college career at Moorpark College before transferring to the Tigers in Eagle Rock.
No stranger to Southern California, Levy played at Calabasas for Jon Palarz, earning All-League, All-County, and CIF honors while leading the team to a CIF Championship in 2011-12. He also played for BTI before moving onto Moorpark and has worked as a coach with NBA trainer Matt Mazarei and for All Net Rising Stars.
