RIVERSIDE, Calif. – For the second time in a five day period, Caltech came up short against La Sierra as they dropped a 73-55 decision on Saturday evening.
The Golden Eagles inside presence was a vital part of the outcome once again as they held a 45-32 advantage in rebounding. In addition to that, they pulled down 22 offensive rebounds which helped them off set their rough shooting night. La Sierra converted 33 percent (24-of-72) of their field goal attempts.
Turnovers played a big part of the evening for the Beavers as they committed 34 turnovers in their first road contest of the season.
Stephanie Bryant once again proved to be something of headache for Caltech as the guard scored 23 points in 36 minute of action. In Monday's season opener, Bryant came off the bench to score 16 points in just over 20 minutes.
